I have received animals as gifts in the past, including a cow, a goat, and a pig. Sadly, all of them died, leaving me emotionally drained and struggling to cope with my pain. I felt like the organizations that donated these animals to me did not truly understand my needs, as they didn’t even visit me beforehand.
However, my experience with Million Lives and their gift of a goat was vastly different. Prior to receiving my goat, Ejo Hacu visited me and showed genuine concern for my well-being. They asked if I was interested in receiving a goat, and even took me to the market to choose one myself. When I brought my goat home, my neighbors were impressed with my ability to take care of an animal, without even knowing that it was a donation. I am so thankful to Million Lives for this gift!
